Pietersite is a unique crystal that originates from Namibia. It was discovered by Sid Pieters in 1962 and he named it after his father, Louis Pieters.

Pietersite is a swirl of colors-like blue, grey, ochre and gold. Blue pietersite is considered among the most valuable but all of the colors are beautiful. The patterns are remarkable and resemble clouds in a storm. It's sometimes called the "Tempest" because of this pattern.

It is believed that the meaning of pietersite is transformation. The many shifting patterns make pietersite a powerful symbol for change. Pietersite also represents strength and power supporting the user in their moment of change.
